My Epson WF-7720will not print off my iMac computer..it tries to print and then lets out a loud screeching sound

Hi, My Epson WF-7720 will not print off my iMac commuter..... When i try to print it sometimes prints a blank A4 then lets out a loud screech, and the printer puts up a readout to turn every thing off and start again....the same thing happens..

dose anyone think its the iMac or the printer that's at fault... the software disc i have is a Vol. 1.2..... Thanks in advance if someone can save my problem.....
