I ordered a new phone from Apple. I am now with Verizon but want to change yo Mint Mobile. Do I sign up with Mint Mobile first or set up my phone first?

If you’ve not set up the device yet, and you wish to port your Verizon cell number to mint, then contact Mint and get their advice. They can help you arrange to port your number to them, and then set up your device for service with them.

This is a great question. If you already have the iPhone in your possession and are actively using it, you can continue to use it with your new provider. The device should already be ready to go with your new provider but you may need to unlock it. This process is fairly simple and your mobile provider can help you further. If you received the iPhone but haven't set it up yet, it would be totally up to you if you want to set it up now and use it before switching or if you'd rather wait. Neither option would be problematic at all so it just comes down to preference.
