Media Audio Ducking While On A Call

Hi, I'm experiencing somewhat of unique issue I think. I often watch videos and consume other types of media while on a call either on google meet or discord, however since i switched to an iPhone 14 pro max from my iPhone 11 pro max, media audio has been ducking/lowering whenever any audio comes from the calling app. i get that it's supposed to be a feature to allow me to hear the phone conversation better but it's more of a hindrance in my case. I've tried disabling audio ducking in accessibility settings but that doesn't seem to work. any idea how i can disable this ? I'm using airpods pro 2 if that matters somehow.
