nfl+ subscription refund refused by NFL and Apple

Initially my annual subscription worked for several weeks then it didn’t. After increasing frustration dealing with the cumbersome support methods NFL uses to communicate with customers I requested a refund through Apple support within the 60 day limit that is Apple’s limit on offering refunds. I was advised by Apple to request a charge back through my bank. I did as they suggested and received a declining letter from my bank saying that I must take it up with Apple myself. I then continued in my request of Apple to refund my subscription fee after receiving an email from NFL+ saying that only Apple can give a refund. Although acknowledging that my initial request was within their 60 day policy Apple informed me that the 60 days has now passed and even after escalating the request to an Apple supervisor was declined and told their was no further avenues to pursue beyond supervisor support. The Apple employees were very courteous as usual, but were bound to the policy of Apple and could not help me. I am usually very very satisfied with Apple support and subscribe through Apple because of the trust I have in them. Today my trust in them is reduced. I know that Apple is currently attempting to secure a billion dollar contract with NFL Sunday Ticket. It seems that maybe their loyalty to customers is currently compromised by bowing to the NFL in an effort to land NFL Sunday ticket. Feeling that I am not valued as highly to Apple as the relationship with the NFL is. ☹️
