Apple iTunes Match

I have a large Music library, some of which were bought from Apple, some ripped from CDs I owned and some recorded off vinyls. All works most of the time, however, my Playlist on Willie Nelson, will not work on the iPhone. That is, when clicked, the music will not play and the message is "This song is not synced across your devices" and yet it is on my Mac and MacBook Pro. How can I rectify?

Check the iCloud Status column in the Songs view of the library for that track. It should normally show purchased, matched, or uploading for a working track. Other status values indicate what the issue is, e.g. waiting, error, ineligible, etc.,, which could point to a workaround.
