I downloaded an app recently, and tried to delete it, but the only option is to remove it from my home screen.

Is there anything that I can do to fix this?

Please check: Settings - Screen Time - Content & Privacy Restrictions - iTunes & App Store Purchases - Deleting Apps = Allow.
