You should be able to sync audiobooks to your iPod in the usual manner as described at Use iTunes to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer - Apple Support. See Audiobooks on iPods for some advice on handling multi-track audiobooks.

TY for answering. I do know how to transfer them using iTunes, been using that since I was given my first, a mini by my son, long ago. The problem is that I hadn't updated them for a while, and yesterday I couldn't get iTunes to run. iTunes would flash my library on the screen for 3-5 seconds before turning off again. Over and over. I uninstalled and reinstalled, with the same result. Then, I got tired of trying and stopped. This morning, I started iTunes, and it started, and Stayed On! and it recognized the iPod I had plugged in. Havent the foggiest notion of why it worked today and not yesterday. I'm just thankful it works, because I wasted a lot of time trying to get it to work yesterday.
