I have recently erased all data in my iPhone to reset it. Hoping it will work faster but finally disabled by the Find my phone. Please how can make it useful again

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support - follow the instructions to restore using your computer, do not using Settings/General/Reset
I erased all data and made factory reset. Then my iPhone is disabled
I wanna start it as new
Now, it says 'update required to activate it'
