Mac mini M1 2022 with Logitech K750 issues

Mac mini is seeing the keyboard but certain key functions are not compatible- specifically the brightness F1/F2. Using a Dell 32" monitor. Some other F keys are not working as well.

I purchased the keyboard largely because it's solar; Apple defaults to "it's 3rd party" so I just perhaps expect certain incompatibility issues. MY issue is that if it's listed on the apple website and Apple sells it, there should be an expectation that it is fully compatible and all functions work.

Anyone know how the keyboard functions can work in this configuration?

The brightness control of external monitors with any Mac is is generally unsupported (I actually do not know of any monitor that works with macOS controls) except for Apple displays and as such display brightness must be controlled on the display. This is nothing new and there is nothing wrong with the keyboard in this respect.
