The device itself will work in any country that has Apple video services.
You may need a travel adapter or different C7 power cord if the AC outlets differ from country A to country B.
Services will be different by country. Apple services are set by the region of your Apple ID account. Third party services will have their own terms and conditions that may be different. E.g. Netflix will work pretty much worldwide, but the catalog may have differences. Amazon Prime Video will work pretty much worldwide, but the catalog may have differences. Local services to your former country will likely not be available in another country.
