I’ve already checked, they are not blocked.
I’ve reset plenty of times. For some reason it’s just them that I can’t see messages from. Prior to switching over to iPhone I’ve never had this issue.
The other person is an android user.

Never mind. Turning both FaceTime and iMessage off and then shutting the phone down, turning the phone back on and turning iMessage and FaceTime on seemed to fix the issue.
