Upgrade from Big Sur straight to Ventura...?

Because of lack of time I´ve held off upgrading to Ventura. I now have the time and would like to do it. My question is: can I simply upgrade to Ventura directly from Big Sur 11.7.1 running (perfectly!) on my 2017 27” iMac? I ask because I´ve never skipped an upgrade (i.e. Monterey) before, and Ventura seems to be quite a big leap from Big Sur! Before doing anything I will have 2 TM backups and 2 clones on external drives ready just in case, and I use iCloud Drive for my docs and desktop. Thanks for any help/advice! Regards, Ian.

I skipped from Big Sur 11.7.1 directly to Ventura on an M1 mini, using the last Time Machine backup from Big Sur during the initial setup of Ventura. Seems to run faster, and has been rock solid in behavior since the upgrade.

Ensure that your printers/scanners are either Apple AirPrint compatible and proceed with the upgrade, or verify that these devices still have vendor driver support on Ventura, and if not, hold on the upgrade. Do not migrate any third-party applications to Ventura from Big Sur, but perform new installations provided the vendors indicate Ventura compatibility.
