The trusted phone number I use is a google voice number which I don’t have access to. It has 2 step verification. Is there anyway to turn off the 2 step verification to either of my devices?

I can’t access my iCloud account on either of my devices due to 2 step verification. The trusted phone number I use is a google voce number which also has 2 step verification. Is there anyway to turn off the 2 step verification to either of my devices?

Hello Nightcrawler660,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with two-step verification. Try the steps listed here to see if they resolve the issue: Two-step verification for Apple ID

"How do I turn off two-step verification?

Make sure that you're still signed in to iCloud on each of your devices. You might be asked for your Apple ID password.

  1. Sign in to appleid.apple.com.
  2. In the Sign-In and Security section, click Account Security.
  3. Click Turn Off two-step verification. Click again to confirm.
  4. Create new security questions and verify your date of birth.

You'll get an email confirming that two-step verification for your Apple ID is off."

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
