No sound for notifications,

No sound for notifications, Messages, Phone. All boxes properly checked in Settings, Notifications, Sounds. Apple Watch vibrates for all.

If your iPhone is locked, then you would only receive notifications on the Apple Watch. Read this support link about the Apple Watch and notifications. Notifications on your Apple Watch - Apple Support
