Can’t Change Name

I’ve changed my name everywhere I can but it’s still displaying my deadname in the App Store, and even after changing my device name, Bluetooth devices still refer to the device after my deadname. How do I fix this?

To start, you'll want to clarify what "name" you're trying to change. You mentioned the App Store and Bluetooth, which are two completely different things.


If you're trying to change the name associated with your Apple ID (which is what would show if you click your profile icon in the App Store) you would go to the Apple ID website and sign in to your account. Then select the Personal Information option, then Name. In there update your name.


If you're trying to change the name of a Bluetooth device, go to Settings > Bluetooth, press the ⓘ Info button next to the device name then edit the name.
