Transferring apps and texts to new iphone from old iphone

So I just got a new iPhone (13) and when I was setting it up, I accidentally chose the wrong device to back my new iPhone up to. I chose my old iPad (3 mini) instead of my last iPhone (8). How can I get all of my stuff from my last iPhone onto my new one (because right now the stuff from my iPad is connected to my phone)? Also I put in my sim card from my last phone too.
