I have a new iphone, restored the backup from my old one through itunes and it has been in loop in the setup screen for one day… I cannot reset it to factory settings because i need to switch off the find my phone feature and since i cannot get pass the hello screen i cannot do it… any ideas?

Try to connect your phone in recovery mode to your computer. Connect the USB cable to your phone, force restart it and follow the steps in this article:

You can also remove the iPhone on your Mac from the device list, or by logging into your iCloud account on your computer.
But that does not stop the loop… i need to be able to reset to factory settings or escape the hello screen loop
