I am facing a recurrent problem with my iphone10 automatically muting itself. I have to go to assistive touch in settings to unmute it and even if I turn the assistive touch off it still mutes again in some time. Don’t know if there is any permanent solution to this.

Just to make sure, did you double check to make sure you didn't accidentally put your iPhone on silent mode using the side switch? How to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode

No I haven’t used the side switch. Infact I can’t even unmute it from the side switch as it is in normal position. Tried updating as well. Nothing seems to work.
