Apple Music lagging

Does anyone know how to make Apple Music stop lagging? Mine consistently cuts out every couple seconds.

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 15

If an app on your iPhone or iPad doesn't work as expected, try this.


2. Close and reopen the app

Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

 

3. Restart your device

Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

 

4. Check for updates

To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.

 

5. Delete the app, then redownload it

Delete the app. When you do this, you might lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed."


If that doesn't help, we'd recommend providing some additional information about the issue.


When this issue occurs, are you using headphones, external speakers, or the built in speaker on your iPhone? Does the same issue occur with all audio output options? That would help determine if the issue is related to headphones or your speaker.


Does this happen on multiple internet connections? For example, both on Wi-Fi and on cellular data? That could help determine if the issue is network related.
