If you are unable to remove an app by following the steps below from Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, as downloading and removing apps is a system issue Contact Apple Support or use this Get Support link for assistance.
"How to delete an app
- Touch and hold the app.
- Tap Remove App icon.
- Tap Delete App, then tap Delete to confirm."
