iphone14 pro max night camera?

When I take a selfie photo in the evening, a blurry and bright image occurs in the photo. What is the reason?

Hello ece0606,

When taking the picture, are you using Portrait mode or standard mode? Portrait mode blurs the background, so that could explain what you see there. Also, is Night mode enabled? It's detailed here: Take Night mode photos with your iPhone camera - Apple Support

  1. Open Camera.
  2. In low-light situations, Night mode turns on automatically. At the top of the screen, the Night mode button turns yellow and a number appears next to it to indicate how many seconds the camera will take to expose the photo.
  3. To experiment with Night mode, tap the Night mode button, then use the slider below the frame to choose between the Auto and Max timers. With Auto, the time is determined automatically; Max uses the longest time. The setting you choose is saved for your next Night mode shot.
  4. Tap the Shutter button, then hold the camera still to take your shot.
  5. Crosshairs appear in the frame if your iPhone detects movement during capture—align the crosshairs to help you reduce motion and improve the shot.
  6. To stop taking a Night mode shot mid-capture, tap the Stop button below the slider.

Cheers!
