rollback passcode

I have two iPhones. One is iPhone XR and the other one is iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Today I tried to activate one new device iPhone 14 pro and sync the pic with iPhone XR, suddenly the lockscreen passcode changed to an unknown one, and at that time, I double check with my iPhone 13 Pro Max the lockscreen passcode which was the same as iPhone XR. Till I figure out whats going on with my iPhone XR, the iPhone 13 Pro Max lock screen passcode had changed too.

I believe the screen passcode was rollback to one I forgot on my iPhone XR

Still can understand how it change my lock screen passcode on my iPhone 13 Pro Max as well.

Any one can help it?

If you enter the wrong passcode on your iPhone Lock Screen too many times, an alert lets you know that your iPhone is disabled. (Learn what to do if you see "[Device] unavailable" or "Security Lockout" on your iPhone or iPad.)

Lock Screen Passcode or Screen Time Passcode.

Following this process is the only way out if your iPhone is disabled. The steps given in this link will help you reset the passcode -> If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your ...

Note:

  • Lock Screen Passcode: If you have a backup either on iCloud or iTunes there is nothing to worry about.
  • Screen Time Passcode: Even If you have a backup either on iCloud or iTunes restoring your device from the backup will return the Passcode back to your device.
