Unable to create new ringtones.

Hello.

Some OSs/iOSs back I was able to create my own ringtones with iTunes.

Now I didn’t find a way.

Anyone knows of one?

Using iPhone 14 Pro iOS 16.1.2 and MBP 15 inch 2019 macOS Ventura 13.0.1

Thanks in advance.

I suspect you have missed out step 3.

Under Music > Preferences > Files tab > Import Settings choose AAC Encoder > High Quality 128k.

You have to select AAC as your prefered format before doing the rest of the steps.

Hello.

Thanks for your reply.

That's exactly the way I did it before and the way I was trying to do it now.

The problem is that the Music app doesn't give me the option of converting to AAC (like it did before).

Before writing here I tried to search the net and tried to find if somewhere in preferences or so to allow the creating of AAC, but to no avail.

Unable to create new ringtones.
