QHD+ macOs UI scaling problem

Is there any news on when Apple plans to fix its macOS UI and font scaling issues on the external displays? This is a more than a-year-old story and still very annoying...

Macos and 4k monitors (horribly small system fonts) I have a new macbook pro and a 4k monitor, just to find out that the system fonts even in large setting are unreadable. I have browsed the web for solutions and besides using the "large" font setting (which increases the font in a almost imperceptible way) the only other option is to loose monitor real state by decreasing the resolution (which I find unacceptable). Other operating systems have no issues dealing with this (Linux and Windows) Is there a way to enlarge the system fonts, menus and icons without loosing monitor resolution? Best Regards

Font menu scaling on 2K display Mac Mini M1 Monterey - 2K display not Apple Some time ago asked about font scaling about my ASUS PA278QV 27" (2560 × 1440) "OS Monterey has Font Scaling, the ability to make menu fonts larger on 4K monitors that otherwise would show too small text But this Setting is not intended for a 2K monitor, like my 27" 2560 × 1440" However, I see that in the system settings -> screens there is the possibility (recently? I don't remember seeing it before) to set the resized resolution for example from 2560 × 1440 by default to 2128 × 1197 (HiDPI) The thing I noticed is that (HiDPI) in brackets. Does this mean that the resolution is reduced but still uses HiDPI on my monitor too, showing slightly larger texts and menus but still at high quality than the default resolution? Or is it a feature that only works on Apple screens and a few others? I used app Betterdisplay to resolve it but lately it creates some issue.. why Apple don't resolve the matter also for 2K monitor not Apple?

How to change the system font size for Mac mini with external monitor? HI, I just got a Mac mini and connected to 3440 x 1440 resolution external monitor however the system font size is too small for me. Hence I look through internet and YouTube to search for solution to scale the system font bigger, all the webpages + videos are referring me to 'Displays' tab and then switch to 'Scale', however my displays tab does not provide that option. Please see the attached below.
