Thank you mingoslkd for replying.
Upon trying the suggested method, the problem is still unresolved. I should clarify that the note on my iPad was a newly created note. The error only happens when I create a new note on my iPad and try to open that newly created note (within an hour or so) on my MacBook Pro through the pick up where you left off icon on the desktop dock. Once clicked on my MacBook, the note shows up blank with "," as the title. Then I close the Notes application on my MacBook Pro and reopen it to try and re-sync the data. It's upon the re-syncing that it deletes the newly created note. It just vanishes automatically without my authorization of deletion. It's very frustrating. It seems to me as a software bug and Apple should look into it. I no longer need the note and at this point it seems there's no way of recovering a file that was deleted by Apple's servers by mistake.
Thank you anyway for your time.
