Application Memory Issue

I just bought a brand new MacBook Pro 14" a few days ago and started receiving application memory error messages. Is there a reason for this? I have attached a screenshot for computer specs and the error message.

I am editing off two external SanDisk SSD's, so there is nothing currently taking up my computer's storage space other than applications.

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities tbwheeler,

Congratulations on your new MacBook Pro! Based on what you've described as going on, we would recommend taking the following steps. They are designed to help us isolate the issue and work toward a resolution. Try them in order, testing between each:

  1. Quit any open apps: Quit apps on Mac - Apple Support, and restart your MacBook Pro: Shut down or restart your Mac - Apple Support
  2. Make sure you have the latest version of macOS installed on your computer: Update macOS on Mac - Apple Support
  3. Start the Mac up in safe mode. A complete description of safe mode, what it does, why it can be helpful, and how to boot to it, can be found here: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
  4. See if the issue also occurs in a new user account: New user or group setup on Mac - Apple Support

If you still need help after that, don't hesitate to respond back.

Cheers.
