If 3G or 4G is not available in the area you are in, it will show whatever is available. In this case Edge.


You can try to turn on Airplane mode for 10 seconds and then turning it off, and see if that lets it reconnect to a higher faster network type.


Otherwise, contact your service provider to inquire about any issues with their service in the area you are in.
