E sim
Hi guys, so I got an iPhone 14 plus in the US before coming down to Nigeria. I tried to activate the e sim but an error message keeps coming. What does this mean? I checked the About and it is unlocked with no sim restrictions.

You bought an iPhone that is locked to a specific service provider / network. It can only use eSims from that provider unless its unlocked. Only that service provider it is locked to, can unlock it for use with other networks.
Where did you buy this iPhone from exactly?
If it was offered for a particular carrier in the US such as AT&T or Verizon, it will be locked to them and only they can unlock it.
