Hey Beardedginja87,

Complete these steps, testing after each one, to see if they help with "Hey Siri" not working with your AirPods. While going through these steps, make sure you're not otherwise using your AirPods (listening to music, on a call, etc.):

  1. Update the iPhone they're paired with as that ensures bug fixes and security updates are in place: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
  2. Toggle the Hey Siri settings to set it up again with fresh connections. To do this, tap Settings > Siri & Search. From here turn off "Listen for Hey Siri" and "Press Side/Home Button for Siri". Wait a few seconds and turn them back on.
  3. Reset your AirPods to reset their settings and reconnect them to your iPhone again using these steps: How to reset your AirPods and AirPods Pro - Apple Support

Let us know how it goes.

Take care!

Hi Beardedginja87, welcome to the Apple community

I hope you are doing well 🤗

I invite you to try this :

Use Siri with AirPods Pro (all generations)

You can use Siri with your AirPods Pro to get answers to questions, control apps, and more. See Find out what Siri can do in the iPhone User Guide.

Use your voice to activate Siri

  1. Wear your AirPods Pro, and make sure they’re connected to your device.
  2. Say “Hey Siri,” then use Siri to get answers to questions, control apps, and more.
  3. For example, say something like “Hey Siri, what causes a rainbow?” or “Hey Siri, set a meeting with Gordon at 9” to create an event in Calendar.

Press the stem to activate Siri

  1. Wear your AirPods Pro, and make sure they’re connected to your device.
  2. Press and hold the indent on the stem on either of your AirPods, wait for a chime, then make your request.

Note: To set up AirPods Pro (1st generation) to activate Siri when you press and hold the indent on the stem of either of your AirPods, see Change your settings to activate Siri with a touch.

Use Siri with AirPods (1st or 2nd generation)

You can use Siri with your AirPods (1st or 2nd generation) to get answers to questions, control apps, and more. See Find out what Siri can do in the iPhone User Guide.

Activate Siri with a double tap with AirPods (1st generation)

  1. Wear your AirPods, and make sure they’re connected to your device.
  2. Double-tap either of your AirPods, wait for a chime, then make your request.

Activate Siri with your voice with AirPods (2nd generation)

  1. Wear your AirPods, and make sure they’re connected to your device.
  2. Say “Hey Siri,” then use Siri to get answers to questions, control apps, and more.
  3. For example, say something like “Hey Siri, what causes a rainbow?” or “Hey Siri, set a meeting with Gordon at 9” to create an event in Calendar.

Note: To change the settings on AirPods (2nd generation) to activate Siri with a double tap, see Change your settings to activate Siri with a touch.
