I bought this HDMI-based mixer and it works well:
Sound Town Wireless Microphone... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083H43MKM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Put it between you Apple TV and TV and it mixes the mic seamlessly with the audio from the Apple TV.
Only issue is the quality of the included wireless mics. Their wireless connection as frequently dropped for me, so I bought these wired mics and everything is fine:
Rockville RMIC-SR Handheld DJ Vocal Recording Wired Microphone+Cables+Mic Case,Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089B68C3L?ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_dp_52243H658GK302HT342A
I bought these mics since they are 600 Ohms which is what the mixer is compatible with per the instructions.

Aside from the head shaking moment of viewing some responses trying to convince someone that they don’t really need what they’re asking (that isn’t all that helpful), if you are having a karaoke party, you really do need the singer’s voice to be amplified. Otherwise their voice gets lost in the general party noise and isn’t as fun.
I never said you don’t need what you want. Nor do I see that anyone else said anything like that. I pointed out that what you want does not currently appear to be an option and that, if you want it, you should let Apple know. Use the feedback link already provided.

@IdrisSeabright Actually what you said was, “It's not clear to me what you'd need a microphone for.”
Which is still not saying, "You don't need one". My not understanding why you need something doesn't mean you don't need it.

Again, I know that is NOT what you were saying LOL, but it happens SO often that I think our internet generation has forgotten maybe we should implement a new internet rule, "If you won't say it to someone's face, then don't say it via keyboard." Because I see that kind of answer all the time and it is so frustrating and wastes time and space, you know what I mean? So I think the Op jumped the gun a bit, I do understand why, but you weren't doing that. :)
So, I wasn't doing anything you considered wrong but you wanted to tell me... I'm not really sure what. Perhaps you meant to reply to someone else?
Lets hope they (or a hardware manufacturer) sports the opportunity. Doesn't seem like a difficult thing to address
I had the same exact thought. A mic would be fun to sing into for my daughter. Bluetooth Mic would be great
hello, for the same purpose, and with an iMac, do you think a shure Bluetooth microphone coud do the job? There is a micro like that in the shop but it is for recording not singing….
As I noted above, I have found zero indication that Sing supports microphones.
Here is a thinking about using iPhone as a microphone with sing on iMac …. For the futur

So, maybe you should tell Apple? Use the feedback link provided above.
Use a home theatre system with a receiver and a mic input?
