What is Helper-Tool? Hey everyone! Recently I have been checking out on how to stop apps from launching automatically on startup. Below, there is this section called "Allow in the Background" (irrelevant but added as an information). Out of curiosity, I decided to check on some apps. There's this executable file called "Helper-Tool" by an unidentified developer. Down below, you have some pictures on how it looks like and where the location is. Is it something I have downloaded of the internet, since it's located in the Mac's read only files (or it least that's what I believe it is)? If it's in the Read Only Files, how come this exec file is an "item by an unidentified developer"? Thanks!

What is helper-tool Unix Executable File In my System Settings Log In Items, there is an item that current has allow in the background status. Its name is helper-tool and it is a unix executable file and says it is from an "unidentified developer". My question is whether I should be allowing it to run in background and whether I should delete it. It was last updated in 2021. I have a MacBook Air running Ventura 13.3.1 (a). Thanks for any insights anyone can provide. (I googled it and found nothing).

Is this part of white text appearing on a black screen in startup? Or white text that has a black background on the text just overlapping the graphics of the rest of the computer's display?
