How to retrieve PIN for voicemail

I don't recall the pin for my voicemail. I-Phone 13 Pro Max. I called US cellular and they said I needed to contact Apple support. How many numbers are in the pin? Is it the same number I use to unlock my phone? I really need some assistance. Thank you.

The person you spoke to at US Cellular is wrong. The PIN (or passcode) is for access to the carrier’s voicemail server. You cannot retrieve it; you must have your carrier create a new passcode, which will erase any messages you have.
