Speaker is very distorted

What makes the speaker distorted? Sounds like the watch is under water. I don’t wear my watch in the shower or swimming. I do the water ejection but doesn’t help.

Measurements Suspended on noise app I have an Apple watch 6 and recently I tried using the noise app and it said “Measurements Suspended”. It claims I either have the water lock on (I don’t) or the speaker is in use with another application. I have closed down all the apps and I don’t appear to be using the microphone for anything else. What is causing this and how do I fix it? I’m assuming it could have been from a recent update because I used to be able to use the noise app any time I wanted. I’ve read that people in the past (2022) would restart their watch and it would temporarily help. I restarted my watch and now the noise app appears to work. If it is a temporary fix, how long will it work for?
