MacBook Pro Crashing
Hi,
I have my old MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) crashing with following report.
Any idea or suggestion what could be the cause?
MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.7

Hi,
Page fault tends to be RAM related issue. Try to check your MacBook Pro with Apple Diagnostics if it reports something memory related error.

If this is indeed a graphics problem, you pay to change the main board for a permanent fix.
If you just want fewer problems at zero cost, wean yourself off Chrome and use a different Browser that does not hammer on the Discrete graphics processor all the time, like FireFox or Safari.
Install gfxCardStatus (https://gfx.io) and set it to "i" (integrated graphics only). It will allow your MBP to run on integrated graphics only, bypassing the discrete GPU which has the issues. This may allow your MBP to run normally, although it will have reduced graphics performance when performing demanding graphics tasks. The alternative is replacing the logic board, which is not cost effective on a machine that old, unless gfx does not resolve the issue and you really want to keep this MBP.
There is an acknowledged bug in the current version of Cody Kreiger's Open-Source gfxcardstatus, and the developer has confessed he does not have time to fix it right now.
There is a fork off the main build by steveschow available that seems to fix that problem for current versions of MacOS such as ElCapitan and Sierra. He provides a finished .app for direct download -- you do not have to compile anything.

These were developed for the 2010 and 2011 models.
First of all dont install something outside app store, and **** apps, reinstall mac os with supported os , then start it update latest drivers and os update. Then setup your mac , activate filevault. U have done something or installed wrong os / malware apps , dont use sideloding apps
Lol go to nvidia use macos as operativsystem , download install, and never use google chrome , use firefox with about:config tweak or safari , go to drivers on mac update latest drivers chipset / bios / then u can use nvidia if u have that on that Mac ,
Diagnostic done with no errors…
back to square one
Graphics drivers present at the 'scene of the crime' could suggest graphics problems.
Running Google Chrome? Chrome INSISTS on using Discrete graphics, if available, where most others do not.
I run chrome…
how to do fix it?
All the browser crash after a while, so is the graphic card.
now my MacBook has the built-in Intel Iris Pro and the NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M.
what is I disconnect the NVIDIA?
So apparently the NVIDIA is not there, or I didn't see it...
I have cleaned the 2 cooling fan and as for now it seems everything to work... strange.
I will now reinstall chrome and see.
Lol if it have 2 gpu , he could use what ever he wants with drivers and chipset latest, otherwise it dont have support for it. Activate in bios or something ?
Never use Google Chrome… is it that bad??
