How can I turn off built-in MacBook display, then connected to external display?
Look out this on internet, an setting down brightness is not a good solution.

On this Apple's page – Mac keyboard shortcuts - Apple Support – is indeed stated:
Control–Shift–Power button* or Control–Shift–Media Eject : Put your displays to sleep.
* Does not apply to the Touch ID sensor.
I don't have a MacBook Pro, so I can't test it. There's this thread addressing the same issue. Take a look and check if it helps:
There is no Eject button on MacBook keyboard with Touch Bar.
Unless there is something new, I don’t know about, you can’t turn it off, unless you close the lid. If you have an external monitor, keyboard and mouse, you can then work in “clamshell” mode.
