HELP!! my macbook air m1 keyboard and truckpad keeps freezing whenever my macbook goes idle or sleep, but my external mouse and keyboard works
also i need to restart the unit if i want to use the internal keyboard and mouse again,

I have seen that issue on some Air M1s and the problem is the Main Logic Board (prior to that conclusion I switched Top Case, Trackpad, Trackpad Flex...I did the homework)
Take your Mac to your local AASP or Apple Store so they can run some tests and give you the full diagnose.
