iPhone 14 Pro

I have a brand new iPhone 14 Pro. It will not send pics to Android phone. I've reset iMessage and SMS and restarted the phone. Then when that didn't work, shut down and turned back on cellular data. Restarted phone again. Still won't send pics. Now it's saying last resort is to reset all settings in general which, I believe, resets EVERYTHING. Is this the only solution? I traded in my iPhone 8 dinosaur and am regretting it!!!
