Safari Page Load error still happening?

Last year it was thought that the Safari page load errors were a javascript problem and that is might have been solved with Safari updates. I currently have the same problem. Some pages that will not load on Safari load readily on Firefox. I prefer Safari but will be forced off of it if this problem continues. Are there current theories/fixes for Safari's problems loading some pages?

I am using Ventura 13.0.1 and Safari Version 16.1 (18614.2.9.1.12) which I believe to be current versions.

iMac 27″, macOS 11.6

Please review If Safari on Mac doesn't open a webpage or isn't working as expected - Apple Support. There are quite a few steps to take, ranging from the trivial and mundane and progressing to more useful and relevant suggestions.

I did the wifi diagnostic and it found dropped connections within 30 seconds.

Answered some questions on the router and had a report generated.

I finally found the report ("/VAR/TEMP" is over my head, sorry. A better set of directions would have helped).

Will forward the diagnostics report to Apple Support I guess.

Again, thank you for your response. All these many years of pages loading instantly were taken for granted

(or "for granite" as some now say because they never read)

When I clicked on the link you sent I, of course, received the "Safari can't connect to the server..." notice.

I went through most of the suggestions there:

Quitting Safari - no help

Extensions are up to date.

Websites had no apparent useful changes unless allowing pop-ups (did not solve)

Security - allowing javascript is a problem for Safari?

Privacy - no apparent help

Use Private Window - first try and "Safari can't connect to the server...)

Software Updates - all current

VPN is Freedome but it was off. I turned it on to no affect.

I guess it is off to Apple Support as Firefox, though better than Safari in this regard, also sometimes gets the

"Can't connect" stuff.
