Iphone 14 Pro Max - Issues texting Androids

Will there be any fixes coming soon that will allow us to have iMessages on and text anyone we want? It is ridiculous that I have to toogle iMessages on/off to text people (especially a group). I could not figure out why a group text would not go thru, then I found a forum that said to turn off iMessages. APPLE this is stupid. I never had this problem before I upgraded to the 14 Pro Max with Verizon. Is it Apple's new 14 Pro Max or is it Verizon? Who cares, just fix it or supply me with the solution to my problem. Thank you.
