iPhone 4 Black Screen will not reboot

I picked up my 32gig last Friday and already the screen is going black during use and won't reboot / restore anything. After about 30 minutes the screen comes back, then goes again after about 10 minutes of use. Could this be an overheating issue? I need help on this one.

A sad sad me too from my side aswell.

My iPhone 4 died today. It does not show up in iTunes and is not even visible as a connected USB device.

It does not react to any kind of hard reset combination.

It is now on a charger connected to the socket on the wall.

I left it lying over night and it appears the battery has drained completly.

The same thing happened to my iPad once, only showing a red flash inside a empty battery logo which is

remarkable because my iPad usually lasts for days if not weeks.

There's something really wrong either with iOS 5 draining the battery or with some kind if deep discharge happening while the phone is not used. It never happens during daytime when I'm activly using the phone.

I left a length message on Apple's feedback page.

I'm really disappointed. Apple's high-end products seem fragile and not suited for daily use.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely do not expect a free ride, they don't need to give me anything.

But I'm really upset that such an expensive device simply dies after 18 month.

It has no scratches / marks, I treated it well and now it simply does not turn back on ...

Totally stupid.

All the best

Patrick

Is this an App related problem ?

How many of you have more than 10 apps installed ?

I have about 7 and my phone is crapping out too.

2 games , 3 news , radio and yellow pages.

Might be programs conflicting with one another.

Make sure you back up your phone on Itunes at least you will have some back up.

If I only didn't love the phone I'd throw it in the ocean.
