password not accepted to update to Ventura
Trying to update from Monterey to Ventura the password used to boot the computer not accepted. I have rebooted several times, password works fine but not accepted for update.

I had the same problem. This worked for me.
- Press cmd + Spacebar to bring up Spotlight and search for Terminal.
- sudo softwareupdate -i -a -R
- -i Install
- -a All appropriate updates
- -R Automatically restart (or shut down) if required to complete installation)
Note: Password does not show when using terminal.
