When I connect my iPad Pro 11“ (4. Gen) to the Studio Display, the display only shows 4/3. So, it basically does not use the whole screen:
Also, I only have the option to mirror the iPad‘s screen.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix the size issue and how to use the Studio Display as a 2nd screen?

Apple has not, as yet, officially added external, extended monitor support to the new iPadOS 16 Stage Manager feature.
Look for Apple to, officially, release the extended monitor support, to the iPadOS 16 Stage Manager feature, in a future iPadOS 16 update.

Basic screen mirroring should be available to an external TV or connected monitor with iPadOS 16.1. However, Stage Manager support for external monitors is not yet available - this feature being planned for release later this year.
