Apple ID

If I set up a new iPad with my Apple ID, so my wife can see my Calendar, Contacts, Photo Library and Music, but have only unique email and message id's for her, will that work?

I have the same Apple ID on two devices. One device is my wife’s device. If signs in under a new ID does she loose all her data? Contacts, texts, pictures, etc? My wife and share the same Apple ID on her IPhone and ipad. If she sign in as her own ID, does she loose her text, pictures, contacts?

You may instead wish to consider setting up Family Sharing, that way she can see items you share but can't accidentally edit them..
