gmail help on my iPhone 14 pro

When I go to add my gmail account onto my new iPhone 14, it tells me to "open my email to verify the account" well, I don't have the account on my phone, that's why I am trying to add it so how am I suppose to open it to verify? Can anyone help me?

why can't i use gmail email for apple id on my phone Im trying to set up a new apple id account (all texts and showing up on my phone, my ipad, my husbands phone). I set up a new email account on gmail. I set up new apple id using gmail account. Removed my phone from original account. All this done on my home computer. Now trying to reset info on my iphone and it wont let me use the gmail account I just set up!

Cannot set up email on iPhone I’m trying to add an email account to my iPhone 14 but it’s not working. i add the account, enter all the pertinent information when I’m finished, it starts the verifying process & j get the message No password provided for "mydomain". Please go to Mail Account Settings and enter a password. I have entered the password every place I’m asked to, including places where it’s shown as optional & always the same result! I even tried with another phone & no charge.

Open the email on another device, perhaps a computer.
