Some of my apps will not fully expand anymore for full view. I have tried the display fix but I don’t have a “standard” option. I have zoom and default. I have tried both settings and force restarting my phone. Nothing has worked. This just recently started and I can’t find a fix. I have seen the question asked multiple times but no suggestions that work to fix it.

We're a bit confused by your post, because there isn't a way to open apps half screen, they would only show up as full screen when launched on an iPhone. Are you experiencing an issue with these apps launching or opening in general?
