Apple Magic Keyboard turns volume down constantly

I have a 2019 bluetooth magic keyboard. Just recently it's begun turning the volume down constantly on the built-in speakers in my MacBook Pro (Monterey)and any connected speakers, headphones etc. I've tied a few suggestions found on the net, ie resetting the PRAM and deleting a bluetooth plist. Any help please?

macos ventura 13.4 magic keyboard keeps disconnecting I have a Mac Studio computer with magic keyboard and it continuously disconnects since upgrading to MacOS Ventura 13.4. (It actually disconnected typing the last sentence) I have to now hit the power button and turn it back on just to get it back and it seems to do this every couple of minutes. Seems like their fix to make it connect faster actually made the problem worse.Anyone else having this problem?

Since 13.5.2 Update Magic Keyboard is not connecting - checked BT and Charge for Keyboard..help!! I was out of town last week and came back to a Ventura 13.5.2 for my iMac. Since the update the Magic Keyboard is not connecting, but other Bluetooth connections (mouse) continue to work. Not sure if the issues is coincidence with the update, but my keyboard worked great before. I have charged the keyboard, made sure the bluetooth is on, restarted my computer (and keyboard on/off), and searched Google for other tips or tricks. Looking for guidance from anyone else that might help me understand why the Magic Keyboard will no longer connect?

happening to me too and my AirPods are not even connected to same device as Magic Keyboard!
