Hide my email

I never set this up. There are no email addresses associated with this function (ICloud-Hide My Email) and yet it continually appears when trying to sign in to an app I have had for years. I want this function gone from my iPad. I have spent hours reading the suggestions from the internet though most only deal with deactivating a specific email address and not the Hide My Email function. I’d rather deal with the alternative.
