Micosoft Adaptive Hub not working with Switch Control

HI, I'm an Assistive Technologist and have been exploring using the new Microsoft Adaptive Hub with my Apple Devices as it purportedly functions across platforms. The way this device works is similar to other switch interfaces in that you assign keystrokes to switch presses (this is done via a helper app in Windows). I can get the Adaptive Hub talking to the iPad (it shows as connected in Bluetooth and "sends" the keystokes to Notes and also to a couple of AAC apps which have been configured to accept these inputs as switch actions. However Switch Control will NOT accept the switch press when I try and add it Add Switch>External - nothing happens when the switch is pressed. I think this is to do with what events Switch Control is set to accept. Blue2 and other switch interfaces work ok as does my Apple Magic Keyboard.
