Camera does not Scan Bank Deposits

How to fix this?

Dec 2022, I upgraded to IOS 16.1.1 on my iPhone X, now camera does NOT scan bank deposits. It works for everything else.

The camera does not work for Check deposits I have Associated Credit Union. Since the 16 update, the camera no longer reads. I have turned the camera access off and on and updated to 16.2, and deleted and reinstalled the app. This is what it looks like. Help!

iphone 14 cant scan bank cheque Hi. I have a 'new to me' iphone 14 that has been updated to iOS 18.0, and the Virgin Money app isn't working the same. When I go to scan a cheque to deposit into my bank, the camera is the opposite way to how the cheque is place, ie cheque landscape, camera portrait. This means its totally strange to try and get the cheque into the camera square. The camera is not recognising the cheque to take the photo. The app does have access to the camera. Any ideas please?

Hmm, what are the symptoms? Give us more details. Also, contact your bank.

When holding the iPhone over the check... the check "scan box" does not activate/shake or even see the check. It is static as if it does not see anything at all.
