I can't find the MobileSync folder in Application Support...is it possible this folder doesnt exist? (Macbook M1, latest os upgrade)

Copy then paste this path into Finder > Go > Go to Folder…
~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/
I just checked something. Have you plugged your iPhone into your Mac since upgrading to Ventura? I just checked one of my Macs that is running Ventura that I never connected an iPhone to and there is no MobileSync folder.
Try this, while in the Finder, press command shift G. That will bring up the "Go to Folder…" window.
Well, I don't know then. I checked the two Macs I have running Ventura and one has the folder, which I connected my iPhone to, and one doesn't, which I hadn't. I also checked an iMac running Monterey I had connected to and it also has the folder.
Maybe someone else will have an idea.
I don't know if it will change anything, but have you tried connecting your iPhone directly into one of the ports?
Thanks, but I don't see it...searching for this only gives me suggested websites, bookmarks and websites...it doesn't show any folder

Yeah sorry, initially not (tried search first), but then (see editted first post) tried Go to Folder...but that also doesn't work: pressing return doesnt get my anywhere, and it doesn't list anything:
I tried that not long before opening this topic :P It is currently connected to my macbook (trough the apple 3-in-a adapter), and the iPhone is charging so it seems there is connection...but still I can't find any MobileSync folder...)
Phone now directly connected (& charging, & clicked 'Allow' when it asked me if I wanted to allow the iPhone), still no MobileSync folder :(
Maybe to verify: I'm trying to locate my WhatsApp chat backup...it says it's on iCloud, but I cant find it on iCloud, read somewhere that it should be in MobileSync folder then...
Well, sounds like one issue is resolved by directly connecting the iPhone. Unfortunately I don't have an answer about the missing MobileSync folder. I don't use WhatsApp so can't help with that. Hopefully someone will have an answer for you. Good Luck.
